I have put the restaurants on the beach in order as you would find them on the street.  Chiringuitos are the only establishments on the actual beach, all of the rest are located on the north side of the street.  Try the Costa Run Challenge, this is to have a drink in each establishment.  Not necessarily in one day.

At the beach to the right

Morisqueria Chanquete:   This is the first restaurant that you come to as you arrive at the beach.  Beautiful decor, excellent food.  These guys are pros.  Longtime restaurant owners in Granada, they have opened this upscale eatery here in Salobreña and it does very well. Look for the Gaudiesque decor on the outside of the building. Very pretty.

The Flintstone Bar: Excellent Spanish owned bar located on te beach. Go down to the beach and turn right.  Colorfully decorated in a Flintstone Motif.  Large dining area inside as well as out.  Really good tapas, good menu, will do full english breakfast. Well stocked bar and friendly staff.  Currently up for sale.

El Limonera: An English owned bar, mother and son.  You can sit and watch the sunset with a cool one.  Inside space is limited though and menu limited. Located right next door to the Flintstone bar at the beach.  Currently up for sale.

Restaurante Nueva Oriental. Fancy some Chinese? Have fun reading the menu, lots lost in translation, but the food is pretty good and their menu del dia is very inexpensive.  Nice people good service.

Restuarante Verdejo:  Opened by two former employes of Chanquete.  Another upscale establishment with very nice decor, good food, but pricier, like Chanquete.

Chiringuito La Bahia: Situated on the beach, this fish restaurant has long been a favourite of both the locals and visitors alike.  Nice location overlooking the sea and the Peñon. Serves sardines cooked over hot coals right on the beach.

Sudem Disco:  Located next to La Bahia on the beach, this is a busy late night spot.  Lots of action and fun.  Party starts late here though.  Lots of promo evenings held during the summer months.

Chiringuito Restaurant El Campano:  Located on the beach next to the Peñon and it's restaurant.  Fisherman, and farmers here.  Good cold beer on a hot day.

El Peñon: Located right on the Peñon on the beach. Dining room over looks the sea.  They do sardines on the beach in the big old bbq boats.  Nice atomosphere, service can be slow.

Pizzaria & Bar El Padrino: Located at the beach at the Junction of the Avenida de Mediterranea and Passeo de Maritima.  Great little family run pizzaria with varied menu and a well stocked bar.  Internal and  external dining .  British run, so English is spoken.

Steakhouse Tropical: A carnivores delight!  Cook your beef, chicken or pork on your own hot stone.  Nice side dishes, extensive bar and dessert menu. Huge outdoor dining area, reservations suggested during the summer.  958 612 584

La Botavara: One of a string of fish restaurants side by side on the beach front. Go down to the beach and turn left.  Located facing the beach, north side of the street.  Has an excellent rep with the Spanish and serves great mixed fish platters, baby squid-puntillas, don't miss them.

La Jabega:  Next to Botavara, nice friendly owner, cold beer, good fish.

El Arenal: Another fine fish house on the beach

El Moluiceño:  Fish, it's our speciality.

Pizzaria Olympia:  My friend swears by the steak she had at this pizzaria.  Open all year around, hard working family run pizzaria. Nice people, friendly service.

Chiringuito La Charca: Located right on the beach.  This is true of only the Charinguitos.  Another pretty good fish restaurant. It is the first one as you turn left onto the beach. Nice fellow, his mother now 80 odd used to run it for years.

Chiringuito Bar Flores:  Good beer and tapas.

Tucan:  An exciting new TexMex styled eatery.  Located on the north side of the street in the Urbanization Jardines del Mar.  Lovely decor and good food.

Los Faroles:  Another busy summertime only restaurant.  Newly renovated, indoor outdoor dining available.

Restaurant Chino Asia:  Another Chinese food restaurant.  This one has the best rep
of the Chinese spots on the beach.  They give good duck.

Disco Peroba: Located on the beach like the Chiringuitos.  Great late night spot, popular with the younger crowd.  Lots of drink promotions etc.  They also have late night take out window for burgers,  fries, pork sammies, beers, and soft drinks.  Very popular, good spot.  Take out starts at about 10 and goes til 4 or 5am. As does the bar.  Lots of tables in the sand too. Fun place.

Restaurante Salomar 2000:  Located in the oldest and tallest urbanization.  Good fish menu, nice salads, does a good trade. Look for the only 4 high rises on the beach built about 30 years ago.  Very nice urbanization.

Epoca café: Also located in the Urbanization.  This is open year round and does good trade.  Fish menu and bar.

Bar Alhambra:  Located amongst the buildings in Urbanization La Fragata.  Nice neighborhood bar, convenient for those staying at the end of the beach. Next to small supermarket too.
